Cool idea but that's way too rich for my blood.

Meh, more switches to hit by accident. I think the Jazzmaster is perfect the way it is.

Sorry, but that looks fucking awesome. Obviously you'd hit the switches all the time, but awesome to look at.

that is probably the worst possible place you could put some switches. I like mods that work within the original switch layout but do new/different/more things.

I don't think so.. it'd be so messy with all the switches in the same spot like that.

are guitars and amps with loads of switches actually designed so you spend more time dicking with the switches and looking for different tones instead of playing the fuckin' thing?

really now

also it looks completely impractical.
everything is not going to be alright

You guys are pansy babies. I pity you. Actually, Rothstein is kind of a big deal. I would be curious to hear the explanation.

the switch on the 13th fret is the best . . .

I mean, who plays on the 13th fret anyways?

Looking at the photos on the site, that's some really great wiring and assembly work -- and the pricing definitely reflects that.

The S-15 system seems pretty ridiculous for the reasons mentioned. Plus, if I'm looking for a boost while I'm playing, I imagine one of the most difficult ways to engage it would be by flipping a hard-to-flip switch on my pickguard that's near a bunch of other switches.

But again, stellar craftsmanship.
