And a Jag from the same site where Noisy Cat found the Jazzmasters:

They don't have pictures of the other three Jags yet.

And the jazzmaster should have the switch where the old one was, that looks shit and I'd smack it while playing.

What does the switch do?

I'm assuming they had to cheapen the Jag out a little so it wouldn't be as good as a Johnny Marr...

It's a phase switch.

I love the idea of a phase switch, but am with others; one switch on that plate looks wank. Would be nice to have both a phase switch and a high pass, two-switch set up up there.

just saw it guys. sorry.

excuse the shit recording. its with a 2010 cell phone.

its a fair representation of how i play, without all the rolling around on the ground and jumping off of shit nonsense.

i play this way because of the middle guitar. back before i ripped out the humbucker and all the switches.

i got it when i was 17 in 1995. its the guitar I learned on. after like 3 months of fucking up both switches and replacing a total of 3 switches in about 6 months i eventually modified the way i strummed to avoid both switches. I continue to play anywhere between over the butt of the neck and the neck pickup no matter what guitar i play and if it has switches or not. its just what works for me.

So you like never ever palm mute?

Really digging that white / black combo with dark rosewood board. Still not getting one though. They don't look much different than VMs, aside from the obvious. In fact, I think I'd sooner have a VM.

His video appears to show him palm-muting and moving his hand back by the bridge around 1:40, but his ordinary open strumming is by the neck pickup.

I actually strum up there too. Having a simple toggle switch on the upper horn would bug the crap out of me.

I don't really strum up there but it still looks weird. They either should've moved it further from the fretboard or put it on the lower bout and stuck that phase switch on both guitars' upper horn. Real JMs and Jags have the same switches up there anyway.

The Jag at least looks kinda cool. Unless you hate that lone switch, then I guess it doesn't. Fuck the Jazzy. These are the high-end blueslawyer offsets, we've always sensed that being a bigger thing.
