Just turned 50 and was intending to buy a birthday year guitar - but didn't find any I liked then I saw this beauty - bit younger than me and substantially more awesome- so the birth year idea will have to wait.

I've had a 1300t and an 800 - both higher specs but prefer the selector switch placement on this model.

Nice!

My first guitar was an SG200. It's sadly a bit worse for wear these days and I've long toyed with the idea of getting one of the fancier more upmarket ones.

What's the little switch between the tone controls and the output jack? Some sort of coil split?

Well worth looking at they're great guitars - i was an 80s kid so these things were all over "Top of the pops" which may have biased my opinion always loved them
