Love it. Got the yellow one as it was intended to replace my DIY LP DC Junior that I accidentally backed my car over about a year ago (pictured is my other one). I think mine had a bit of setup before being shipped as it has no business playing so well. Sounds great plugged in too, has a bratty, Tele-esque vibe.

I love it. I always wanted a Melody Maker and came close to buying a used Gibson reissue back when they were $250 - 300 but the sellers was hell bent to send it to me across the world in that original cardboard toy box they were packed into from the factory, so it didn't work.
That DC looks really good too, and the TV Yellow finish on it is ridiculously nice

Love that DC!
Those Melody Makers always looked fun. Yellow is the best color I think, good looking fretboard on yours too!

Oh I really like that a lot. I NEARLY ended up with a black LP junior earlier this year (although I always get mardy about the P90 being too capslock).

I had one of these for a while (same colour and everything) and I regret selling it, I just wasn't super in love with the sound compared to my Tele and Iceman so it wasn't getting the amount of play it deserved. Enjoy!

It just looks so nice, how couldn’t it be nice to play it !
I’d love to hear it
Can those pickups be replaced with simple single coils or it’s some “specific” spacing etc ?

I believe they can typically be replaced with Strat pickups, although not all of those are created equal so it can be a tight fit in the pickguard sometimes according to a video by 60 Cycle Hum about a guitar he's since smashed "for charity".
Anyway, I've recently decided to gift this guitar to my 6yo nephew in Ohio (though this did originally cross my mind when i bought it) so it's only mine for a couple more months. He's excited to start playing.

He'll definitely love it. Will you be on on the 29th, Paul?
