So this new guitar shop opened up next door to a video game store I frequent....I went in at random a couple weeks ago and was overwhelmed by the sheer amount of cool stuff, but one thing in particular caught my eye....
In a moment of weakness post election I went back with some trade bait and cash and made this happen:
It's definitely not perfect, middle pickup might be dead and the switches are a little janky, but the price was reflective of this and was the cheapest I've seen. Trying to sort it all out, but it's complete and straight. Never thought I'd see one in person let alone own one!

Wow, a nice find. For a second there I thought it was a recent reissue.

Thanks!
So as it turns out, the middle pickup was NOT dead, it was just a broken trace on the circuit board for the switches (interesting forum thread about the switches if anyone's curious: http://www.projectguitar.com/forums/to ... or-wiring/ ).
Last thing to do is replace the output jack with a switchcraft and better wiring, that's the only thing about it that's a little shaky now. Then just have to condition the fretboard/polish the frets and give it a setup. Excited for this one!
