Plan coming together... bought 5 of these as I can see other possibilities with these cheap power converters and it brings the unit cost down.

Apparently my order for two Model Selector switches has a Correo (Spanish Post Office) tracking code. I await developments with interest.

Note: Firefox's Spanish - English translator is crap compared with Edge. It translated "discount" to "destruction" in one case.

Latest news on the TRS power system. The TRS cable options I had to hand were 2m and 5m. I'd been using the 5m one with my home-built power box but I kept getting occasional erratic behaviour - like the top position on both the model selector switch and the "pickup selector" (actually a secondary model selector) stopped working, or flipped between one and another. If I twisted the jack in the socket I got some noise and the problem would go away for a bit. I switched to using the internal battery and it was fine. So, out with the multimeter and check what voltage was actually appearing at the jack socket on the guitar - 6.85V.

I've upped the output voltage on the DC-DC converter from 6.95V to (Line 6's nominal) 7.02V and that combined with the 2m cable seems to resolve the issue. So I have a 3m Stagg TRS cable on order from Amazon, though they don't know when they can deliver it. Could also be an issue with oxidation on the jack socket's ring contact, so the best bet for live play is to use the internal battery.

Looks like the issue was the contacts in the jack socket. I soaked a cotton bud in Servisol Super 10 and gave the inside of the jack a good scrub. Did this a couple of times.

That seems to have solved the problem.
