It can be tough getting WRHB to fit on standard Jag pickguard.

I kind of love the liberal arts engineering.

Done.
Well apart from the switch plate on order.

Sounds cool. Still setting it up and needs intonating etc.

I think I will call it jank-caster

That looks mint. Good work on the wide ranger mounting.

I know caster/master seems necessary but this is a lost opportunity for "Jankuar"

It's like a telecaster custom in Jaguar form

Jaguar Custom for short.

I think it looks phenomenal. You should be proud.

that should sound pretty unique, very curious what the tele pickups sound like in there.

What is the bridge pickup and how does it stand up to the humbucker?

I love the idea of something like this, but that matchup is key, I think. That was one of the issues I found with my tele and one of the challenges in getting pickups made for it.

Also, what value pots/caps?

It's a Bare Knuckle Brute Force Telecaster Bridge Pickup
And stands up really well, I could of set it to be much louder than the wideranger. I actually have both screwed low so the guitar is still only a bit louder than my standard Jaguar.

I did get a 1 meg volume pot but broke it while trying to bend one of the tabs(fuck you dimarzio) so it's currently straight to the jack.
The wideranger (it's not really a proper cuntknife one) has way more treble than I've heard from a neck pickup before. Which is pretty cool.

That'll do it!

Wonder if that treble is a consequence of going straight to jack? Cool either way.

Spent some time setting intonation tonight and pretty sure the bridge post holes must of been drilled slightly too far forward (it came already drilled)

Have had to move each saddle quite far back to get it intonated.

It's working but slightly annoying.
Action is pretty good after truss rod adjustment. I have also hit the side of the neck with fine sandpaper to sort out the sharp frets.

Damn. If you flip the bridge around you can get the saddles right to the back without having to crush springs into little lumps.

Or just take the springs out for the strings that need it ALL the way back; had to do this on the Doogcaster for the super thick low string I use.

Looks sick, man!

Cheers Doog.

I did take the spring out on the low E(tuned to D).
