Very cool vid. It’s hard to tell from the video but does it sound like a proper RAT. I was looking to get another for less distorted (and noisy) mode so one of these would do the trick if it sounds right.

I picked up one of the cheap Plexi versions. It’s pretty decent however definitely a bit more fizzy than a “proper” pedal.

Actually I need to try the rude mouse against the moore.

OK the rude mouse is a bit darker than the mooer and also louder.

Is that not just down to pot tapers and tolerances, or does the circuit actually get louder and darker?

Yep, for a proper test, you would want two of the same pedal, plus a third different pedal.

I'd like to see a massive shoot out between every Rat clone you could reasonably get your hands on, but each one played with a completely different guitar and through a completely different amp for the most subjective and pointless demo video ever made.

All amps already on their overdrive channels, too.
