I am sure it still sounds nice but can't imagine it will be very well balanced with the neck. You would need to replace the foam under it probably to give it any adjustment most likely.
The bridge could perhaps be slightly taller to give an even better break angle.
Hurb you fucking idiot, it's quite obvious from this photo (and the others) that the pickup is fine.

Mike: You just need to raise your bridge, strings, body and neck a bit until they're right.

Thing is though, you might prefer it further still once it's adjusted? Typically, these numbers put the guitar in the most comfortable and easy-playing state it can be, and personally I have no interest in being J Mascis, wrestling with a guitar that's practically set up to play slide.

No wonder he's so tired

Remember when Johnny Rotten told the press he had shits so long he had to cut them off with razor blades?

FWIW I ordered a string gauge to do the next adjustment

Even in this short time I see the benefit in taking care of setting up the guitar and making it more inspiring to play

100%, for all the fetishisation we have of 'em, guitars are still just tools that make the job easier when the haptics are NAILED.

I wonder how many great guitars I passed by because of a crummy set-up...

I got my string-a-lee gauge

Both Jaguars just needed a little slackening of the trussrod as I had very little relief when measuring it with the old capo 1, 17th fret, measure at the 8th method.

Not really sure there is a noticeable difference in the playing as a result of it, but at least I am PERIOD CORRECT now
