Duo Sonic Wiring

I'm looking at the wiring diagram for a current production HS Duo Sonic. I've read that this guitar uses Gibson 50's wiring? If I wanted to switch from that to a "normal" wiring, what wire(s) would I need to swap? Not really digging the volume loss on the tone knob.
