my collection runs too deep to add more to it. though the squire esquires had my finger on the trigger.

the CV Strat set me straight, only thing I'm lacking in is some kind of humbucker guitar like an sg or 335 style or a rosewood tele, though I'm not really worried about it anymore.

That's very nice. Wasn't shell pank/mint green one of the colourways offered on whatever the well-regarded Mexican strats were about... oooh, ten years back? Think Proggy had one.

Oof. I was stoked for the Supersonic.

And then I saw the neck width :?

That's always been the neck width of the Squier Supersonic. The Fender Pawn Shop version had a 42mm nut width.

Also the reason why it's the one I want the most.

Oops, I meant the nut width.

For some reason I was hoping they'd go with the Fender Pawn Shop specs. But yeah, I see the Squier has always had a super narrow nut. No go for sausage fingers.

I like the look and spec of the Cyclone but I'm waiting until I can try one. All depends on the neck, if it's like the Mustang VM it would be a no-go - far too clubby for my small hands.

Does the Squier have a narrower neck? I might be interested in getting one to put on my Fender Supersonic if so. I assume it would fit?

Specs say it’s a 1.5 nut width. You’d have to double check the heel dimensions to see if it’s an easy fit.

the heel of a supersonic is unique to the supersonic. you cant put other necks on a supersonic and you cant put a supersonic on other guitars

also Nick, my Vista supersonic had a 42mm nut not 40 nick. the neck on it was beefier than my compstangRI and jagstang.

But presumably a Squier Supersonic neck would be compatible with a Fender Supersonic?
