Just arrived.
I changed to.011 gauge and raised the bridge some millimeters.
Checked intonation and that‘s all.
Wonderful guitar.
I bought the Jaguar because i love the sound of Marc Ribot

Sold my white one because I couldn't get on with the fretboard edge. Wish I'd just rolled the edges with a screwdriver.

Sold my white one because I couldn't get along with the stock bridge (maybe the white ones are cursed!?). I play stupidly hard and on a few occasions the bridge literally started to shake itself apart mid-gig. Replaced it with a TOM which was a lot more stable but couldn't get the action where I liked it. Just stressed myself out and went back to playing Teles. You know where you are with a Tele.
This is a beautiful guitar though, if you can make it work for you! The sunburst/tort Jaguar in this music video is what made me fall in love with offsets, I reckon:

Bit of an embarrassing video now, but in my defence I was 14 at the time.

i own a red one. Had the same mid-gig issues with the bridge. Swapped it for a mustang bridge. For the 9.5" radius i put some washers under the e-string saddles. So now i have no issues anymore and it plays, sounds and looks so nice.

Had my first rehearsal and have no problems with the bridge.
But i did some modding before:
- filed the saddles so the strings can't slip
- raised the bridge
- .011 Strings
- Put some clear nailpolish on the saddle screws, no more rattling
i tuned the guitar yesterday, today it was still in tune, after the rehearsal just a bit out of tune like any other (hardtail) guitar
If you do have problems with the bridge, I’d recommend a Wilkinson roller bridge.

Them mods take me back.
I used to use candle wax on all the screw threads, stopped rattling and movement.
I'd pick one of these up if they were cheaper. I've seen people asking £300 second hand, no way am I paying that, remember when you could pick up CIJ Fender Jaguars up for not much more and it wasn't that long ago either.

We have cobbles (setts they call them up here when they're square) round by me.
We're in a conservation area so they're not allowed to tarmac them. They're pretty but they're a total deathtrap on a bike and they shake houses and cars to bits.
You have no idea the local Facebook ire they generate.
Cobbles. DIVISIVE.

Aye, the stock pickups are really underrated! I've got the pickups in a project SG I put together about 4 years ago (in fact IIRC BobArseCake gave me the pickups from his VM Jag for free!).

I also really like the stock pickups! Never thought about changing.

I saw someone asking £490 for a MP Marauder - they were only £275 new a few years ago.

It's gone crazy.
Better off building your own from parts these days.
