that is freaking badass! the weird stuff on the back might be "spiral cord" rash. i have seen it before. if you leave a guitar with a nitro finish against the old spiral chords for long enough the chord will pull off the pain since they are caustic. i used to have a picture of an old jaguar that sat in a case for years against one of those old cables and you could see the finish on the cable and it went down to bare wood on the guitar.

This spirals are so small, i don't think its from a cord. More about an orbital power sander.

Never knew that the comp stripes are black primed.
