No, I laughed.
I would call that fucked.
Shame about the split in the neck, if it was rare/old/valuable it might be worth getting the glue out.

Neck looks salvageable. If it's cheap enough in a week, I'll bite.

If that stays cheap enough, I'd have a go on it with some glue.

One cool thing that this broken guitar reveals to us is that the new Fender Super-sonics have the neck that extends under the pickguard like the original Squier Super-Sonics. In theory, the new necks could be swapped out for a broken Squier, though I think the new necks are 9.5" radius.

Showed the pics to my tech... he'd take the job.

If I can get this for cheap. And I mean stupid cheap, like where I come out under $400 all in, I'll buy it and fix it.

i think there are like 5 of us watching this now, i saw it for 70 and thought, SHIT! its an easy fix. glue the body back together, replace one tuner, or bend it back, do a lil dowell action on the neck and ins playable, the guard is intact enough to keep the switch and pups in place so that doesn't actually need to be replaced. im watching it, but since i know folks on here want it i won't bid on it. i hope it goes for less than 150. cuz it wouldn't be that much work to fix it all. it would be worth fixing the body just to make templates from, then re-selling it, if you do it just right you might actually be able to keep the color and just say the crack is finish deep, which, if glued well enough the crack would really only be finish deep.

For some reason I thought that low E string was a crack in the neck
So, not as fucked as I thought. With a usable neck it's a much better prospect.

Though, for some reason I don't feel anything for smashed, trashed or hacked up guitars.
It's a $10 piece of wood and some paint at the end of the day...

with perfectly fine pickups, bridge, control plate, pots etc. sure the body is screwed, and the high e tuner is junk'd, but its still very repairable.

My biggest gripe with the SS is that useless contour on the top lower bout. If you win it you should have him sand out the top contour extending it up the body so that it's actually useful.

Here's another blue one for ya:
