I think you'd mentioned them before, and I just stumbled across them on eBay at Purple Turtle Music. The telecaster is £95 with delivery. Not exactly steep, and it has EMGEEEEZ! Passive, obviously, but still, not a bad package. I really do like the look of them.

I fucking hated the whole "relic" bullshit when it first started to spread, but I love these. They don't look like they've just been sanded down a little and attacked randomly with a dremel (Fender Custom Shop), they look genuinely grimy as fuck and I love it. Not as sold on the crackle finishes, but the white ones look brilliant.

They remind me of my Lindert a little.

I like how they didn't just do an exact copy of a Telecaster. The sharper points on the cutaway is nice. I like how it looks old without too much relicking. Looks like it's been sitting in a mechanics garage for 20 years. I don't hate relicked guitars, but it's often overdone and not thought out.

These are awesome for the price! Love the out of a stinky canal look, they are just missing the supermarket trolley as an accessory.

New Squier Cyclone or one of these??? Have they ever done maple fretboards?

I had a Bloodsport flying V style with EMG p90s that I sold to Sloan. EXTREMELY hot pickups. Kinda wish I had it back now... hilariously gaudy but a great guitar.

EMG " Designed" pickups but still a killer deal. I personally like the Marquee models. It's an offset but kinda Firebird like , p-90s and a strat bridge .

I had one of these, but the coffee table brown. It wasn't bad, needed new tuners and the pickups were just ok. Sold it for what I paid for it when I realized I didn't like strat type guitars.

Well I bought one  couldn't let it pass at that price (£89) and £6 next day delivery.

Paying myself back from any chrimbo cash I get, but I'mstill in the doghouse for getting it. The phrase "You only have one pair of hands" was used when it arrived

Only had a quick look before it went back in it's box ready for Santa, but initial impressions were very impressive for £89 guitar!
When I opened it up I thought it was totally stripped and natural as "the paint" is really thin. The logo on the headstock is branded into the wood and the back of the neck is a very sort of "tea stained" vintage tint. A shallow C profile I would say the back it and the fretboard itself is of the flatter type. The metal hardware looks bronze like but really does look fake but the rest of it I love.
Not too heavy either.
Think the shop (Purple Turtle Music) did a good setup on it before they shipped it out as it arrived in tune 8)

Came with allen keys and a free lead too.
