Very impressed so far, I'll do a proper video demo before too long!

You guys can knock the unboxing demos but Eric Johnson has proved the type of cardboard used affects the tone in transit.

They seem pretty sweet, can't wait to hear a demo. I normally think multi fx's are lame as well.

I really want to hear the wah sounds!

you should play it and put that on youtube. i've read mixed reviews, some people say that the distortion models sound "flat" (whatever that means) etc. but yeah, on the side of convenience this thing kicks ass.

Yeah, that's the general idea, dude! I'm just getting settled with it now.

It's funny, I've been A/Bing with my '92 RAT and the "Classic Distortion" RAT model falls a little flat, not enough spiky higher mids and heavy low end. HOWEVER, the "Facial Fuzz" gets very close indeed, so much so, I could barely tell them apart. Sweeeeeet.

What is it? Models of classic fx pedals, i'm guessing?

Can you do a video of the reverb part? If it's good I think I'll sell my RV-7 and go ahead and buy one of these.

Hmm.

So it turns out while the true bypass mode does indeed kills delays off dead when you switch them off (like I wanted), but it only does this when all the other units are disengaged, or when switching to the other preset in the Fx Unit.

Bum.

Obviously not ideal but I suppose you could set up a scene that is identical other than the delay and switch between those two? It sounds a bit cumbersome especially as you'd need a double for every scene you wanted that sort of delay on.

Yeah, that's pretty much the only way around it. I can set the 2nd preset to be a "dry" preset, meaning that'd kill the delay and nothing else.

Yeah, it's very close to the Big Muff, the Mid (possibly renamed to Tone properly on later firmware updates) control works just like the Tone control, low mid hump at the bottom of the dial and EVERYTHING. I'll attempt to put something together tonight.

Holy fuck, this pedal is impossible to demo in the space of half an hour, and even then it's too much to take on.

I'm gonna have to do a new demo tomorrow just showing my favourite settings or something.
