the dual terror really likes having a bit of beef from the saltbooster, so i've been leaving it on for my main clean/breakup sound. the OCD provides a little more gain, but not too saturated. very open sounding. i use the looper so i can switch both the ocd and saltbooster on and off at the same time easier than tap dancing.

Yep. I find myself using fuzz less and less these days, but getting more into wah-type filters like the Rattle Crow and Harmonic Energizer. When I get a minute I'm going to make myself a Harmonic Energizer in a small box with a some sort of abrasive fuzz, maybe FY-2 derivative.

It's a Rocktek Metal Worker. It was my first ever distortion. And after the old/crap pedal nostalgia threads @ couldn't resist giving it a go, it's pretty shit, I should have taken another good distortion instead.

Finished up a current project for myself.... When I play I almost always only use two pedals..OD/Boost of some sort and a Big Muff... oh and my amp foot switch. So I built them all into one box..

Thanx to the fellows who helped me with noize issues from all 3 circuits being in one enclosure :wink:

from left to right...Violet Ram's Head BMP w/ BC550C trannies and mid knorb.... Amp foot switch.... Fet booster w/ treble boost as well

The switch changes the order the signal goes into the circuits

down= Booster >>>> Muff

up= Muff >>> Booster

a combo of power filtering, grounding and isolation.... any of the crappy orange electrical tape u see is where the fixes were needed........

It just came down to the Fet booster not liking sharing power and grounds

also, Ram's Heads are so sweet...easily my fav NYC BMPs

Picked up a Peavey Classic 20 today. Very sweet little amp. I'd heard great things about it and it def doesn't disappoint. Picked up a couple of cheap pedals the other day too DL$ and a Whammy. Dunno if the whammy will be staying but I've been after that delay for a wee while now.

I like the Green, IC and Ram's head versions. That's why I make 'em I guess.

Seriously had a "smile on face, didn't stop playing guitar for an hour" situation when I made each one for the first time.

Totally agree my good man, the Green Russian & Ram's Head are my all time Favs but u have to have an IC in the collection too.... That smile comes anytime I make any of them, ever :wink:

I love some dirty Muff....

I think I might start experimenting with some different clipping arrangements in them.... maybe LEDs and do the resistor/emmiter mods to bump the gain back up...
