I think the valveslapper is really versatile, the way I set it up it sounds pretty like an IC Muff with the tone circuit disengaged - but better.

The Dirtbox is also pretty versatile, it's really an OD/Dist but with the gain up high it starts to sound fuzzy.

I will give the dirtbox a try when I get a chance. I've ordered a holy stain as I desperately need a reverb and i'm considering some kind of fuzz.

What pedals do you have?

This is what I have at the moment, although the Marshall reverb has now gone in favour of an Ibanez AD9 and i've just bought an Ibanez CCL Dual Chorus which will go in place of the MXR EVH Flanger.

I have my eye on Eau Claire Thunder and/or The Internet. I really want to play on the Internet :) (I can't stop watching this demo....THAT'S FEEDBACK, Brother!)

Oooh haven't watched that video for a while and now it's got me all excited for when my Internet arrives.

Seeing it again has just made me want one even more! I really can't afford, but I'd kick at least two other pedals off my board if I got one so if I sold those, hmm...

Cool board! I definitely need to get out and start trying some different pedals out.

I hope that the internet will cover all bases for me because to be honest, all I need is 'Gain' then 'MORE GAIN'.

I'm too picky about distortion sounds for certain songs; I have two fuzzes, two overdrives and a boost for my band. It was a lot simpler when my board was just gain, more gain and delay.

Nice looking setup. You're the only other person I've seen here who has a You Dirty Rat. I'm still not even sure what to classify it as other than a jack-of-all trades dirt pedal.

It's actually not a You Dirty Rat. It was, I got it really cheap but didn't like it so I had it modded to Monte Allums Rat specs. Apparently the YDR and old Rats have very similar circuits so the YDR can be modded to Rat specs very easily. If fact Monte recommends that, if you want one of his modded Rats, you should get a YDR and mod that as the current Rat2's are made so badly that they tend to fall apart if you try and mod them.
