My pedal board consists entirely of a single 0.5 watt, metal film resistor.

ODR-1 switched with the 1981.

That looks extremely neat, Thom. What's your signal path and what cables are you using?

Thanks Nick. Signal path is:

PolyTune -> Crybaby -> Compadre -> Fuzz -> SD-1 -> 1981 -> DD-8 (with Cntl Knob to switch delay times) -> Spacestation -> Flint

And am mostly using EBS Gold cables as they are the lowest profile I’ve found. Not had any issues with them and makes fitting things in a lot easier.

I find it hard not to lay out pedals according to their position in the signal path, though there's absolutely no reason why you should.

I also find it annoying that the Line 6 M9 numbers its channels 1 - 3 left to right when most pedals have input on the right and output on the left. You can reverse the signal path so it's 3->2->1 but if I remember correctly when you go into set-up to decide which expression pedal controls which channel, if you have reversed the signal path Channel 3 is now Channel 1 when it comes to expression pedals.

I did this for such a long time, but recently have been thinking about access and what makes sense when behind a mic stand.

That does indeed sound very annoying.

Really neat looking board, Thom.

How are you finding the FZ-1w?

How does that EHX CNTL work? Is it like having two expression pedals left in a fixed position?

Cool.

I was looking at these earlier. Think it would be perfect for doing something similar in my set up (but syncing precisely to BPM). Just wish they were about a third of the price *arsecake*

Cheers mate. Am really liking the FZ-1w, I’ve never been a big fuzz user, so for me it’s great. I love that it doesn’t need to be first in the chain, it plays well with the wah and it’s also not crazy fuzz. On lower settings it’s a nice overdrive/distortion.

Exactly that for the cntl, have got it set for a short and longer delay time.

I've always wondered why it's called the CNTL and not the CTRL.
