Yeah the original pickguard was 100% covered by dinosaur stickers so this particular bass is named brontoDave wrote:^ I think that was in reference to the dinosaur stickers that were originally on it.

I agree, if I have a choice of pickups I'll use them - so the guitar has to limit me, and in doing so opens up a different way of thinking... that's why I kept my melody maker in the great guitar cull of 2013.benecol wrote:I know I'm about to draw accusations of terrible m@j@ feathers, but: it's just not the same.
I'm in the same camp as Stewart, hardly ever move off the bridge pup, especially live.dezb1 wrote:I agree, if I have a choice of pickups I'll use them - so the guitar has to limit me, and in doing so opens up a different way of thinking... that's why I kept my melody maker in the great guitar cull of 2013.benecol wrote:I know I'm about to draw accusations of terrible m@j@ feathers, but: it's just not the same.
I like it a lot. Compared to other 335s I've played, it's got a big neck. Compared to my other guitars (with stupid big necks) it's got a fairly slim neck. Not playing it so much lately, but I went through a stage of playing nothing but a while back. Same as my Jazzmaster; barely picked it up all summer, but can't leave it alone now.James wrote:How are you getting on with the Edwards 335?
