My Mascis Jazzmaster with a black pickguard. I bought it second hand
and the original aluminum pickguard had already been switched to a pearloid.
So.. i changed it to black, and im kinda liking it.

Thanks! It's a pure tone machine. The Duncan mini humbucker I put in the neck is my favorite pickup and it pairs so well with a nice vintage-style Tele bridge pickup.

I've actually considered putting a Bigsby on it, but I couldn't bring myself to drill holes in the top on the off chance I decided that I liked it better without the Bigsby. :D

Yep, it's an American Vintage Reissue '62 Tele Custom in Surf Green. I modified it slightly by putting the compensated brass saddles on there and sticking the Duncan mini humbucker in the neck.

Brass saddles and a possible humbucker in the neck are potentials for my new CVC. It would be good to hear the mini humbucker to see whether to consider it. This is a very very nice guitar.
