Finally finished sorting out the Vantage Strat - had to remove the saddle springs on the low E And A strings to get them back far enough to intonate. Sounds and plays rather nicely now. Also impressed with the electronics in this thing - the volume and tone controls are great volume and tone pots at 7 on the neck pickup is the sound I hear in my head when I think of a strat £40 well spent... just a pity its black.

I only got into Jaco this Spring, a live show of his was on Sky Arts as I was flicking through and I was blown away. Then begun the diving into Wikipedia and all other Jaco videos, including the fantastic documentary about him. My better half bought me the album for my birthday and it's been on the turntable most days since then.

The live show in question, I believe to be from later in his career when his issues were really beginning to take hold

Been on the lookout for a decent copy of it for a few weeks now.

I'm not sure where the Mrs got it, but it's the Music on Vinyl label's reissue. I gave it another blast this afternoon

I’ve only got it on CD. I ought to remedy that.

Didn't realize you'd made 2 more, that's awesome! Any particular reason? Backup guitars for a band theme or just practicing paint skills?

Thanks a lot. I really love them to play. But i will sell them to get new material for the next one. Just love to hang in my studio, drinking beer, making stencils, spray some stuff and listen and play music... Since corona i had no bandpractising and i compensate it with doing stuff like this.

How is the Squier Thinline? I've always lusted after a Thinline with wide range pickups.
