so what if it's been discussed before? this is valid topic for a thread because

1) this is a music gear forum

2) there is no other thread dedicated to this cool bit of new musical gear

3) it's just been released! you can actually download and play it now.

if you dont find this thread interesting or have discussed it before, just dont reply and let the topic die. why put effort into complaining?

The developer AQ Interactive has stated that KORG DS-10 will see an international release. They are currently localizing it for each territory
It doesn't even have a release date out of japan and apparently hasn't been translated yet, so you won't be seeing it in english for little while.

I was wrong! The synth is in english and it works, I just had to update the firmware on my r4 card for it to work.

hey installed it and got the japanese screen - thank god you posted the solution, i had to download the newest m3 simply firmware!

anyway getting some awesome sounds out of it - great drum machine, and it's easy to get some well beepy digital synth tonez. need to work out how to get the recorder/sequencer longer than 4 bars, as it's a bit short. but yeh nice software.

What's the best way of doing the whole 'download games on to my DS' shtick, and is it worthwhile, given that it's supposed to be getting much harder to upload/download games and to sell cartridges

YES it's so worth it. The game downloading is easy (and nothing will change that unless P2P sharing dies) plus theres a nice homebrew scene, but the carts are about to be pulled off sale so buy em soon.

- just buy this pack off amazon.co.uk

- download the latest firmware from http://gbatemp.net/index.php?act=downloads and stick it on the root of the sd card.

- go to torrentz.com and get whatever DS games you want. stick em on the SD cart. PLAY!

I've been looking into the DS homebrew scene - there's some really sweet sound apps out there!
