Some guitars and shit **with demoZ**

Post by rodvonbon »

Ok, I know this is indulgent, but I posted a video of my guitars on you tube.
I bought one of those flip cameras to record some video of my comics, guitars, recording gear and stuff for my insurance company and ended up goofing around with a video editing program. I added an unreleased song by my old band just for kicks.
I plan on doing some guitar info demos soon also, but I'm new to the whole video thang.

When I had the gold guitar made I also had 2 pickguards made for it. one in "vintage" pearl with a switch and the other regular pearl with out a switch. The vintage one looked like ass on gold so I put it on the Musicmaster and the switch is just on/off.

Yeah, that one is bright orange under the trem and pick guard. With it's history, it's a little creepy to play.

Creepy to play? Do tell.
If you think of god as a pair of pants, a spiritualist thinks he needs pants, in fact he wants pants but none of the conventional types of pants seem to fit just right, so he makes his own pants and is happy that his knees are no longer cold.-fibus

It s'posedly was bought new in 1969 by a prison in Florida and was used in the "good behavior" room for the next (almost) 40 years. When I run my hand across it I can feel that none of the paint is chipped off, instead it's worn smooth. When ya think about all the rapists, murderers and other assorted scum of the earth that have held it, it's kind of creepy.

I just made a video demo of it and am waiting for my other computer to render the file. I will have it up some time today.

So here is my first guitar demo. I tried to get a little fancy with the editing and shit. I guess I will get better at it as I go along. I'm kind of hooked on this video camera and will do a demo of the Swinger's spin-o-split pot later today.

Ya know I've bought two of my guitars from a guy in Milwaukee. One of them was a competition orange a few months ago and the other is the cleaner looking blue '69 just a couple of weeks ago.

Wonderful. Your prison stang noodling sounds dope. Also, I heard a lotta people not liking humbuckers split to single coil, but yours sounded great, imo
