the fingerboard looks a little thin for a slab board. possibly a refret.
then again, it could just be his crappy pictures.

It doesn't look great to me. I would never bid on an auction like that.

It definately cheep for a 58 neck. The reason I started the thread was I remember Bubbles wanting one a while back. I just get tired of the "FAO" threads. I guess bubbles is taken care of right now.....

bad auction aside, that neck would be awesome for your project, mike. I have a 65B Musicmaster neck from bubbles that I'm using on a mustang project (whose completeness snuck up on me) and it rules.

He wasn't shipping abroad. If another comes up I might hit you up with paypal fees and get you to ship it along to me if that's ok?

that was a very nice playing neck. did you (or do you plan to) refinish it or did you just leave that weird varnish on it?

i dont think i should bother doing any work on it. i dig everything about it and managed to put on some chrome klusons with different bushings vs those golden craps. thanks again for that, man

i felt bad getting rid of those tuners. i mean, sure, they were gaudy and ugly, but they were really solid. and it looked like they got a blind person to drill out those holes.
glad you got it sorted and are happy.
