does subs have bar frets?
i couldn't remember.
the binding on the treble side from the nut until the 7th fret or so was lifted when i got it, i glued it back down but i bet you could lift it back up with a heat gun and some patience to check, might be worth it anyway, just for a re-fret.

If it has bar frets, there is NO WAY I'm refreting it. That would be the worst nightmare ever. I think that guitar just needs a decent bridge and set up.

are you srs?
honestly, you would trade a 66 for a servicemen?
dave, sell me that guitar back, i need a 66 AUTHENTIC fender.
you can't be serious tho. they cost 250 average, there is some weird spike at the moment but just wait, the best one i ever bought was a blu one that cost me 130 bucks shipped from cali to me.

and come to think of it i think the white one came from cali as well.
i replaced a few banjo frets that were bar frets into normal frets,
just make a normal sized slot in the center of the bar area, and press as normal, shoot some glue in and it will sit just as it should.
altho you will need to keep in pressed for a while to ensure a bond.

servicemen jaguars are FAKE fender jaguars, did you realize that, or did you think we were talking about real jaguars?
cuz i can list 4 that went for under 330.00 and 3 that were less that 250.00

I know all about the servicemans, I'm a veteran myself. At one time I had the strat copy, I would love to get my hands on a playable jag!! My strat really wasn't that bad..
