meh, alright so I guess I'm gonna get the Jazzmaster. I just really am not a fan of the color selection that MF currently has, All colors except Olympic White are backordered. Sure wish Fender didn't discontinue these in Ice Blue Metallic, this is the one guitar I would like to have in that color. Weird they also kept the Jag in Ice Blue Metallic though.

Olympic White - This could be ok, and is in stock, don't really like the PG though
Ocean Turquoise - Absolutely Hate this color, Backordered until the end of March
3-Tone Sunburst - nice, but I don't know if I really need another Sunburst guitar, Backordered until Mid-April
Black - OK, but I really don't need another black guitar, Backordered until Feb 25
Surf Green - eh... alright, but I'd rather have a surf green strat I think, Backordered until Mid-April

Thoughts? I'm not sure how long this gift certificate lasts, my guess is 1 year, I may just have to hold onto it until a sale comes around. Probably won't be a sale on Jazzmasters though, seeing as how they are almost all out of stock at the moment.

Olympic White is hatefully disappointing. I got fed up of mine, much prefer a crisp white.

Sunburst on most guitars: No.

Sunburst on Jazzmasters: Fuck yes.

hey, that mentality has kept the prices on vintage jags somewhat reasonable.

Guitar Center gift cards are good for 1 year. Being it's the same company and all it should be the same for gift cards
