Think this is worth $150?

Post by westtexasred »

Got at my local Pawn Shop. They usually just have Squiers or even crappier stuff like Trinity River Telecasters.Once before they had a nice cream colored Dano U2 for $169 but I didn't buy it and regretted it.The kid working there said he was thinking about buying this guitar himself.I said "Yeah,it's cool.Like Jimmy Page" and he said "Whose that?"I Said "You know,Led Zepplin?"He just shrugged and said "Sorry,I don't know anything about old music".

I believe my old scumbag guitar shop sold a black one for $300.

I think I marked it

"Dano electric guitar! $200! Jimmy Page MOJO!"

worth the 150 IF you like playing it. i like danos alot, so that seems good to me, but they're not super versatile
and they're made of saw dust.

Personally I would definately go for it at $150. Dano seem only to re-issue models once every few years in limited runs, and their 2007 reissues ($300 rrp new) don't have the same hardware as the older reissues like that one so that's probably the more sought after.

I'm a big fan of Danos though; but if you're after one I would say that's a steal (though I live in expensive britain, so that's a really cheap price from this point of view)

I'd say do it but you'd probably sell it in less than a week

Lovely guitar. At the current £-$ that's about £76. Fucking bargain. But I suppose in real terms, since you earn your living in US$ it's like £150. I would still totally pay £150 for that guitar.

The American economy means the $ pretty much equals the £. Americans get paid half as much and everything is half the price. That's why English people pay taxes, so we can't steal from the American economy.
