The cyclone is one of fender's most awkward looking guitars. The bridge location is probably why. Making it look more like a Mustang just makes the space behind the bridge look even larger.

yeah, it's like no man's land down there. and using the strat bridge on anything other than a strat is such a cop out.

Thank Thad for that one. I didn't even touch it other then to ship it. He always does a nice job!

You are welcome. Sucks about the time it took to ship the Damb thing back and forth to Canada. Oh well. Looks great.

See if Bubbles approves........

I hate to post 3 times in a row....... but WTF? Why not?

After looking at the guitar for a minute, I think that thing would look HOT with white pickup covers, white knobs and with switch cover. For the win, you'd need to go with a White strap. That would be friggin AWESOME.

robroe would love it then.

It's more or less the same deal with the Musicmaster or Duo-Sonic, with their smaller non-trem bridges. I used to notice that, but I'm used to it now. Looks fine to me.

i actually think the pearl didn't look bad. the mint is ok, but it could use some robroes and a white switch tip.

umm, stupid question maybe.

Will the Warmoth conversion neck even work on a Cyclone? It was designed to make 25.5" scale guitars 24.75, but is that what Fender did, and will it intonate?

As it is it looks like the 22nd fret is in a MUCH different "place" relative to everything than it was before.

That said, if it does work, it does look better (except for the white HB sticking out like a sore, white penis) If it doesn't intonate, you can always plug everything up and put a Mustang trem wherever you want 8)
