really? I should experiment with the neck version because the one in my '51's bridge pretty damn hot. It actually breaks up on my twin rather nicely

thanks. I still want to switch the guard to an anodized gold one I am getting from Robert. I also might change out the 3 way as it is really flimsy. We will see. Now it seems like even lightly brushing it will switch it. I know a better switch will prevent that a bit. I also will probably age the knobs a little bit as the are a bit bright against the wood/tort.

Your guitar looks better from the last time I saw it/posted about it. If your looking to change out the 3-way switch, perhaps you should see what brand Tom Morello (Audioslave, Rage) uses as his guitar style makes way for some heavy pickup selecting. Just a thought.
I think a anodized pick guard should complement it perfectly, especially with the chrome covered pickups and clean finish.

Inspired by your project, I bought a cheap jagmaster off craigslist and a pair of GFS Dream 180s. The pickups arrived today, and I went to drop them in and they don't fit! I have one of the newer short scale jagmasters, and the pickguard is quite rounded around the stock pickups. Did you run into this when you put in the split humbuckers? If so, how did you shave back the pickguard? Dremel? File?

Thanks!

I'm depressed at how young we look in those pictures. We're fucking haggard now. I had a pedalboard then too.
Hurb sold his duo?! For how much?

I had to re-route the pickguard as it is routed for uncovered HB's and there is no room for the cover.

Hurb do you actually want to sell it? I'm genuinely interested in buying it if you do. PM me or somethings. If you're not selling it, I'd definitely still be interested in it in the future if you change your mind.
