The gold picks out the Maple and the gold on the headstock decal nicely. I didn't think I would like it but

Yeah, I didn't notice the mappel/gold combo, and the green does contrast just enough to bring it out.

Out of curiosity I stepped upstairs again to see the 6:00 twilight, to observe what the evening sky would do to my eyes, sans Mr. Sun. Maybe a tad less electric green beetle shine and a bit less yellow in the guard, but most of it is as-is and otherwise pretty much looks as it does indoors.

Added bridge cover for bonus Image lulz.

Yeah, that's lovely.... I would say some cream pickups covers would look great, and some super expensive white witch hat knobs wouldn't go amiss but that just my opinion & subjective. Amber switch tip too of course. It really is super nice. I get excited when something is this close to perfection.

I'm glad you didn't ruin that guitar with a tort guard.

It looks great with the gold

Glad the thumbs continue to stand erect in approval.

Goood thing CIJ guards are easily switched out, and I'm not this or that with them at the moment and will likely put the aged white guard back on in due time. After a week now, though, I'm thinking more and more that a"hefty bite and chunk" may be more what I'm after in a second Jazzmaster (being so satisfied with my No.1 for its snarling single-coily-goodness), which may justify a pair of Novak Jazzmaster WRHBs for Jazzmaster for teh Ranaldoze.. It's a ton of moola for the toanz so I'm going to chew this one over...
