Good man, and no worries. Chances are there is no major issue with the guitar, you just need to get it set up properly. There are some great videos online and guides to help you out there if you want to try it yourself which I would recommend; it just requires some patience.

George wrote:My advice is to take it to a guitar shop and get it a setup, especially if you haven't done anything before and aren't interested in learning. Replacing a fret is probably not going to be the answer here, and even then it takes some years of experience so you should leave it to the pros. One fret replacing should cost you sod all but the consequential fret levelling and everything else can mount up. Just take it to them and say it needs a setup, don't give them any clues for them to rip you off.
Definitely follow this advice. Unless the fret has been filed or improperly installed, it's probably fine. You may need to simply raise the string height on the E and A strings via the Mustang bridge.

If that fret buzz should happen again you could try playing other frets. There's like 22 of them, should last you for some time.

How many frets can you play at once?
