The Fender Telemaster has arrived!!! PICS!!!

Post by matocaster »

The new VERY short short run of the Fender Telemaster has hit stores, the newest creation from the Fender Custom shop!

God I want one!

It has a hidden pickup under the guard, I've heard of people doing that to esquires.

It would look so much better with a CBS headstock IMO

Haha I know, I was thinking the same thing! The price is unreal for how few of parts are actually on the guitar.

A few people on OSG have made/are making these. But then they go nuts for fuckin' Marauders.

I think they look okay, but don't really use a coherent design language like a proper telecaster or jazzmaster.

Must say, the Telecaster control plate parallel to the centre-line looks odd to me on that style of body.

I think they look nice, I would rock one. The price is shocking though. You could go to a luthier get one custom made for less, it's ridiculous.

What's with the paint-job? I don't understand new guitars looking purposefully worn...

And the price is ridiculous.

I'd like the first one if it didn't have a stupid relic paint job and had 3 ply. Also dig the red one but again fuck that relic job.
