I hate it, but it's about time Fender makes a new Jaguar or Jazzmaster with blocks and binding. Too bad it's so ugly. I'm glad it's probably the only one.

Weird that it comes with 2 pickguards.....loaded with pups too? I wonder if they are truly modular of if one has to re-solder the knobs and switches.....seems stupid to have custom shop guitars with extra routing.

Yes, you would have to do some re-soldering when switching guards.

Blocks and binding, white button tuners, white witch hats FTW

Gold hardware, pearloid, buzz stop, and highly figured neck, $3000 price tag, FTFL.

Verdict: FAIL

I sort of like the color, though.

Seems to me like anybody who is going to pay for a masterbuilt fender custom yadda yadda guitar isn't going to want to solder the insides themselves....

Also going from 2 pups to 3 with the same knobs and switches is going to require some rethinking of what knob/switch does what. Maybe the buyer picks if they want 2 or 3 pups before they buy.

+1 to everything in this post. Fuck that guitar.

Put that color on a Squier Super Sonic and I'd be all over it.

The Finish is the only cool thing about that guitar. Fender is the most boring guitar company in the world.
