Cheers. I fitted the bigsby myself, and when I got it it had a P90 in the neck and some hotrails wank pickup in the bridge. I put some nice texas specials back in. Got a mate to plug the P90 route, which thankfully was very neat:

...alright, I still think the Tele body shape is the ugliest fucking thing in the world, but how will that keep me from owning one?
(circa May or so, probably)
I've never minded regular Teles (though never had much of an inclination towards em) soundwise, but I've been going totally gay for Deluxes lately... I tried a few out a bit back, even the RI wideranges sound fairly cool, despite having the weirdest, deepest, almost bass-like bass tone on the lower strings at some settings (1 meg pots needed?)

Seen this pic a few times, and have always assumed that you're wearing a stethoscope. Aaaaanyhow, see one play one, as we say in the cribbage world:Mike wrote:
Ignore the other two guitars (they're gone now, to finance my Jazzmaster) but that's my Cimar (Ibanez's maiden name) '72 Custom - I stripped and refinned it last summer, and fit a GFS Memphis Retrotron HB in the neck and an overwound GFS 60's tele bridge pickup. It's very nice - I believe someone else here has a Cimar?
In my opinion this is the most beautiful telecaster, I dont like the bigsby much.. But thats just me.. Black with white binding, mmm.. Are the texas pickups who come in default any good ?timhulio wrote:
