Fender Knobs

Post by roachello »

For future reference and projects, can u guys/gals post the varieties of knobs to choose from [none of that skull stuff]? I know the basics of black fluted knobs, witch hats, chicken heads, but which do you guys think are classy and which are not?

If you're willing to drive into the valley this place has tons of knobs, much more than they have on their website:

yea that was a bummer. but if you buy like 20 .75 cent knobs for like 15 bucks you could have enough to last you forever on projects and the 6 dollars shipping doesn't seem that bad

What are these made of? did anyone ever order any? Do the ceramic ones have set screws? They are $1.55.

I have a pair I got somewhere that just slide on. I have much greater confidence in set screws.

this one is really cool. it might look weird to have a bunch of 'em on a guitar, though.

yeah, they're really cool. it's a damn shame they're so expensive now. last time i was at guitar center in hollywood, they had a pair of 'em $2500 each.
