Aye? Naw.

They don't fucking work. In terms of engineering, design, functionality, reliability and durability the Honda Jazz is to the Fiat Punto what a shopping trolley is to a shite bike with an empty bottle stuck in its back wheel.

I know that one of those analogues is only slightly more desirable than the other, but there it is.

As someone who sold nearly everything in a pursuit of minimalism a few years ago...I just have regret now. Like it literally makes me fucking sad. This year I have grown my guitars by 3 and it feels good (once you get past the icky feeling) I have learned that minimalism only really works with stuff you don't care about(clothes etc) but guitar stuff is different. Your not going mad and can still totally be eco and treat yourself now and again. You do plenty for your family...so live a little for yourself.
You may be right but all I feel now is PAIN and DOUBT
If that’s how you feel Mike you are ready for a Strat. The time has come. Zoom blooze jam?

Seriously mate, you are a good bloke/father/husband, you’ve always worked hard and yeah these are tough unpredictable times but you should treat yourself every now and then.

I've enjoyed the everyday convenience of those for many a year.

Alternatively and still applicable in the Honda/Fiat debate:

I've enjoyed the comedy and ridicule that follows those for many a year.

Gonnae say that the Honda Jazz has the most usable space. I've moved a house full of stuff, plus a piano, in the back of one before. There is nothing that will not fit in there.

Plus, it will not complain. It's a 1.1 engine. Me and my da filled the back with coal one time. Dunno how many bags. More than I noticed, 25 kg each. Heavy as fuck. Only a 1.1. It doesn't care, it will happily rev to 6/7/8/9/10/a-million revs or whatever it took to make it work.

This is getting away from the point of this thread, but for me, the Jazz is one of the great cars. Uncompromisingly useful. Designed to do something well, nothing else. A friend of mine owns a TVR. He's delighted that it doesn't have carpet. The Jazz I had didn't have air conditioning for similar reasons. I admire that certain cars are made for purists. Some of these are obvious. I love the Lotus/Caterham 7. I love the Landrover Defender. I love cars that have been designed to do something better than anyone else could possibly design them. The Jazz was more economical and practical than my friend's car is fast. So the Jazz is better. The Honda Jazz is the car for the purist's purist.

More than that, for such a purely designed car (clearly designed to be reliable, useful, then cheap), it drove surprisingly well. Not great, not exciting or thrilling, but far, far better than you deserved for what you'd paid for those other things.

Gonnae sum up in here that yes, I'm fully prepared to go at it Aug style (knife fight in a chain pit outside a roadside bar) with anyone who disagrees the Honda Jazz is the best car and that the Baja Tele is the best guitar.

Although, as Rob pointed out, Teles are a bit racist.

Incidentally, do you find the seats comfortable? If so, I made them. If not....

Compared to a sofa, no.

Compared to much more expensive cars, maybe.

Compared to similarly priced cars, yes. Very. Far more comfortable than they should be. With half a tonne of coal in the back. And a piano. And your band. And their gear. And room for someone else who needs a lift on the way home. And still getting 47MPG. And never, ever, actually needing engine oil.

EDIT:compared to the verge by the road near the knife-pit-bar. Luxurious.
