recommend me a guitar less than £500 to get my mojo back

Talk about all other types of guitars. Jazzmasters and basses go here!

Of course I'd be more than happy to take that 60s Thinline off your hands if it got "lost in the post", Chris...

what is UnO2 Nick?
>UnO<
UnO stands for "UnOfficial" (= not created by Behringer). UnO firmware solves some annoying bugs and adds some frequently requested features. To name just one: in "stompbox mode" you can use 1 row of FCB1010 switches to switch effects on/off, with the LEDs showing the current state at all time. Initial stompbox states can be programmed for each preset.

UnO2 ... takes a completely different approach. Getting rid of the rigid 10x10 bank structure, a UnO2 setup can contain any mix of presets or stompboxes, sending any number of MIDI commands on any MIDI channel. Initially we thought this would only be feasible by adding extra hardware, which is why we invented the TinyBox.
But now we succeeded in squeezing part of the TinyBox core functionality into an FCB1010 chip.
And it comes with a free editor included!
You can find rip-off UnO PROMs on ebay for a fiver, but the Control Centre software used to be about 20 Euros. UnO2 is 50 Euros and my keyboard is not USB MIDI class compliant so I don't think I can justify splashing the cash but it would make the FCB101 fully flexible..

Well it arrived today but they sent a 60s Thinline Tele so now waiting for them to let me know when they can replace it
Doh!

I had one of the 60s ones for a while, it was a nice guitar.

So they sent the wrong model? That's pretty funny, I haven't heard of that happening often lately, not even on forums.

Why hurry though? Have fun playing the guitar you're going to swap.

When you press the accelerator past halfway it doesn’t actually go any faster, but the engine noise distorts

Natural Squiers can be hit or miss, that is some beautiful grain and birdseye, the wood pieces look nicely matched. Looks like a winner!
