What's up, Staytrem?

Post by jagsonic »

On the website: "Sorry but the website is temporarily closed and we cannot process any orders at this time
We will be back online Monday 24th September
As from that date we will be reducing production and will have very limited stock.
For this reason we will no longer be shipping world wide and will only be accepting orders from UK buyers.
We apologize for any inconvenience this causes." Staytrem

No more international shipping?!?

Tim beat me to it.

In case you don't want to read all six pages:

So I’m assuming we’ll probably see Staytrems on eBay and other places, marked up for resale?

Site's back up:
Staytrem wrote:Why UK only

Due to a change in circumstances we have reduced our production to just 20% of our previous output. As a consequence of this we will have a very limited amount of stock which will only be sufficient to supply within the UK and we will no longer be shipping worldwide.

Any orders placed on the website must have a UK address for billing and delivery.

There will also be a limit to the amount of products that can be ordered.

We would kindly ask that you do not purchase our products for the purpose of re-selling on internet sites etc, thank you.

So I spent yesterday dithering about whether to get a replacement bridge for my JM Jaguar (the string spacing isn't ideal with the stock modified Mustang bridge) but all the bridges bar the 7.25" Bass VI bridge are now sold out.

Pah.

Ha. Yeah, I've been meaning to do it for absolutely ages but never quite got round to it. It's not like the stock bridge spacing renders the guitar unplayable or anything but I think the Staytrem spacing would be an improvement.

Will just have to wait for more to become available.

You could check out Halon Guitar Parts if you want a quality replacement bridge.

It is very different in construction from the classic Mustang/JM bridge though.

I wrote a novel about it in this post:
