Damn, I've been out of the "new guitars"- game for quite some time but seriously thinking about getting one of these. Now maybe if I work some extra shifts, sell one of the guitars.. Has anyone gotten round to actually play one?

That Impala looks pretty cool, and actually I like the new headstock better, that body is too weird for a strat headstock.

When you press the accelerator past halfway it doesn’t actually go any faster, but the engine noise distorts

i can't really jive with the headstock, although i understand why they couldn't use the original ones. i'd be sorely tempted to sand off the black paint and re-shape it.

Actually between the surely-more-modern necks and the TOMs I didn't notice at first I've now got cold funny-shaped Epifeet about the whole thing. I've got enough SGs, wouldn't want to risk another at these sort of prices.

WHY DON'T THEY HAVE GUITAR SHOPS ANYMORE etc... being as honest as I can with myself, they look so awesome I might not care. It'll either be this or a Squier VM offset of some type before I'm committed by my friends/family for hoarding.

Just wait 8 months until the shops start blowing out the stock at crazy prices (then buy one on the secondhand market for buttons).

nice review and love the look of it. reminds me of a rick 620. shame they've changed the neck profile to a boring modern C though.

They were right to mention the bank of 6 identical unlabelled switches. Fuck were they thinking?

I really like Premier Guitar's Rig-Rundown segment.
