I'd totally like it if it had a normal headstock. I hate to tune guitars with 3+3 tuners... It is also worse for the nut and tuning stability. Looks ugly on a fender type thing too. :D

seems like it. i mean when you have the strings pulling into those slots not only downwards, but also sideways, there is surely more friction in them, especcialy on plastic nuts you seem to get on ibanez guitars.

On a well cut lubricated nut, this makes little to no difference. In fact a 3x3 headstock can have a totally straight path over the nut if the tuners are located in a particular way - think PRS.

Straight path with this one too... Though it looks like the photoshooped the D to divert over the logo.

On the Talman subject; My daughter got a TMB-300 bass. I really love it, even has an active boost circuit that is quite nice.

I like the Talman config of lipsticks or p90 type pickups(previously owned both). The world don't need another funny shaped tele knockoff. Bass looks cool.

I like the new Talmans but I've discovered they are not cheap. They're made in Japan and the price shows it. $1100 here in the US and most likely more elsewhere .. A bit of money for a Strat and Tele alternative. I haven't seen one in person just yet but my guess is they must be well made . However I'll wait to buy one when they hit the clearance section...

I like it and always liked the old Talmans.

Would have preferred a Duo type fixed bridge but then, I'd choose a Tele bridge over a two point floating bridge any day.

I actually think these are a bit better looking than the new Fender Telemasters.

The new fad, it's like the designer dog of guitars.
