Lovely. That headstock shape thrills me - same as the Starcaster. <3

I find the choice of tremolo interesting.
Do y'all think the Mustang tremolo is better than the Jag/JM tremolo?

Been wanting a Coronado for ages now. Either Lake Placid Blue or White. They're just stupidly sexy

No, it's pretty difficult to control. The JM/Jag trem is better for dips, whereas the Strat trem is better than the Mustang for dives.

As for the heinous Fender Marauder... sometimes dead is better!

If you want an attainable next-best-thing, check out the BiLT Relevator. An almost exact copy, and there are tons of options for pickup and switching options.

"These BilT guitars are sleek and salacious and seem like they come from some glistening retro-futuristic realm. Beautifully made and well conceived, they could spark creativity in a moldy log."
Yes nels, that realm was conceived by Fender. Have you heard of them?

I've wanted a jazzmaster for years, particularly in ice blue metallic or ocean turquoise that used to be available on the avri's. unfortunately now all you can find anywhere are the stupid, black, sunburst or sometimes white ones, or the stupidly overpriced new 65 Ri's

With no less than four guitars going out the door for good (almost there), I think I finally have incentive to replace more with better.

This 1992 Terada build showed up online on Thursday night and no one's biting so far, no doubt because $1370 is a lot to pay for dents, even over here where mildy used ones can still go for $2000. I dunno, if frets and the neck are in good order, I'd feel quite alright about acquiring a mildy bashed up Jet that would make me enjoy the thing more than the super-conscious attitude I'd have to put on every time I pulled out something pristine, and I think I can work the guy down to $1300 or so based on his post.

We'll see...

LIVEJOURNALESQUE EDIT on dream guitar!!!11

Final deal came out to be $1150 from a Pawn Shop...

Very nice deal. What year is it?
