JMJM. It's a really good guitar.

I plan to get the vintage white Jaguar at some point.

you see my dilemma?
Well... try the Mustang and see if it catches your fancy? Or just buy a Jaguar and mod it teh fuck so it offers something SLIGHTLY different from your '66 and so it looks DRASTICALLY different.

I feel like this dilemma is sort of common with owning two guitars in general.

I would really love to have all 3 Squiers, especially the Jazzmaster. Unfortunately, I don't really need any of them. I have two Mustangs, AVRI Jaguar and I am building an Ash Jazzmaster in the vein of JMJM. If I really love my Jazzmaster, maybe I could see picking up a JMJM or Squier Jazzmaster. I love the vintage cream on the Mustang. I wish they had the Jazzmaster in Sea foam Green or Surf green like the Jag. Sonic Blue Jazzmaster with Gold anodized pickguard would look hot.

Not really arsed about mustangs these days, I've kind of gone off them a bit.

While I've been waiting for Fender/Squier to make affordable models of all three for like 10 years, I've since spent my money on countless better instruments. Now I am no longer interested.

That could be me as well honestly. If I didn't already have close to thirty different guitars and such and was just starting off, I could see myself wanting to buy them all. I already have Mustangs, Jazzmasters, and Jaguars though so my enthusiasm isn't quite as strong if I didn't have so many guitars.

Sold my Classic Player Jag to buy a VM Jag and a VM Jazz - couldn't be happier with them both! Will be posting pics once I've got them how I want them (still waiting on a pickguard).

I've done a whole load of buying and selling these last few months; I now reckon I'm finally where I want to be with my collection after narrowing it down to just four: my new VM Jag & Jazz, my 65RI Mustang and my Super-Sonic. That's seriously all I need - no more GAS for me.

Although the new VM Telecaster Custom in sunburst looks nice...

You've got to post a pic of all of those in one place.

What is the teal guitar on the right? Is that a Mustang with Jag trem and Jazzmaster pickups?

The day they bring them out in left handed I'll be getting a JM for sure. If that ever happens...

I bought a jm jazzmaster last year when it came out. I think it's a great deal. Only the switch has a loose contact, so sometimes it sucks. But i will replace it soon...

They must use cheap switches in the JMJM because the one I played one pickup wouldn't work and I bet it was the switch they used.

That teal one is a full scale contoured Mustang body with a Jazzy trem, Jazzy pickups, and a toggle. Andrewdoeshair made it. :)

with my wife, we went to the guitar shop this afternoon.
i was surprised that is green, not blue! i like green! :D
She bought it for a birthday present but i need to wait the 17th of novembre to have it!
it's like i'm a child waiting for christmas and my parents hide the presents.

i check a CP jazz to compare. The CP was more warm and less metallic. I think i'll change the bridge and maybe the pickups.
like everyone say, the VMJM plays great!!!
i prefer the VM jazz than the VM jag; thinner neck and a lighter guitar.

I've never gotten to play a JMJM and think that from what everyone says it's probably superior to my VMJM. But I like the neck on the VMJM and am afraid I wouldn't get on as well with the Mascis.
