attaching a pendant to guitar

have a flat metal pendant that has some decent weight its very smooth and flat on the bottom surface and sits on the guitar fine.
what would be the best way to attach it to the body? it will be on the paint finish
some kind of glue ,screws?

any suggestions

anything like this work for anyone

a thin layer of chud should work

going to attach this really old snake pendant under the bridge of my silvertone 1448.
