Looks like the reverb equivalent of EHX's Canyon, which is lots of fun. Happy with my DRRI's reverb though.

Get Mike to make you a 1.4 OCD.

Do yourself a favour, and save up and get him to put a DLS in the same box.

In the meantime, satisfy your gas and buy the Danelectro Timmy Clone for £20 or £30.

Do you mean his Salt Storm pedal? Looks alright that.

Danelectros are just too ugly; I have ...

I find OCDs to be too middy. What amp are you using it with?

Also, the MojoMojo has a bass control - could you not dial that out? My TC Spark's bass and treble works really well.
A Deluxe Reverb reissue. I only ever played my old OCD v1.4 in LP mode; I found the mid boost to be very slight to ...

Suggestions for transparent uncompressed OD pedal (UK)

I sold my OCD v1.4 and regret it.

Since then I've tried:

- EHX Soul Food: horrible mid-hump. I clearly don't want a klone.
- EHX Glove: similar to OCD but not as smooth
- EHX Crayon: very transparent but dry and anaemic – no overtones/harmonics
- OCDs v1.7 and v2.0: both too bassy – ...

Yeah a Deluxe Reverb has crossed my mind too. I mistakenly thought it was only a little bit smaller.

If – and it's a big if – I was to find someone willing to swap, how much cash do you reckon I should ask my way?

What should I replace my Twin Reverb with?

I love the way it looks and sounds but it's just far too big, heavy and loud for my needs. I just play at home. I only own it because I was offered it for cheaps a few years ago.

So what's out there that's similar sounding but smaller, lighter and cheaper? Something loud enough to be played with a ...

Just get a single coil-sized humbucker (like a JB Jr). No need to route nor get a new guard.

The Jaguar's switching is perfect. Edit: near-perfect – including a strangle on the upper plate (next to the phase switch) would have made it look less sparse.

They should have left the Jazzmaster's toggle in the usual place and put a series or phase switch in place of the rhythm circuit.

Not ...

Re: NGD: Squier Jarman signature Mus-guar 1st impressions +P

1st i must mention that the switching IS different than on the Mustang... which i don't know if it was on purpose or not (re: Jarman?);
on a mustang, you had 2 ways of getting the in/out of phase sound. something like both switches in (or out) gave you this or that sound... ugh, it has always ...

Love the looks and pickup combination; not so keen on the 25.5" scale, 12" radius and medium jumbos though.

They're great; I've got them in all four of my guitars. Well priced and great service from the bloke (Marc) as well.

New 65RIs are rare and crazy expensive. Used bargains can be had though.

Edit: In the UK, anyway.
