Really can't go wrong with Boss. My go-to pedals right now are the RV-6 and the CE-2b (per ultratwin's recommendation). I'm looking to pick up an HF-2 and maybe another Boss reverb or delay. I used to have an all Boss and EHX board from the early 2000s until it was stolen out of my car in 2009. Sad,...

All of these beautiful Muffs and Boss can't be bothered to do an HM-2w. Bollocks.

Heard those were great multi-fx boxes. Like a bunch of vintage MIJ Boss pedals in a box. Might become collectable.

I used to rent an hourly rehearsal room that came with a Blues Jr. I loved that amp... tone for days. Was one of the main reasons I later decided to get a DRRI. From 2007 to 2017, I was all about Fender amps. I owned a Blues Deluxe, a Vibro Champ, a Rivera-era Concert, and the aforementioned DRRI. N...

Rob, that's a super awesome amp. Like Nick, I had the 65 Deluxe Reverb Reissue. The 68 is definitely brighter than the 65, which was a problem for me, but probably not a problem for you. Otherwise they are comparable amps. Mine was loud af. I could play with a drummer with the volume knob on 4.

Sorted, I'm getting teh Sansamp British. I have an SD-1 (black label Taiwanese, pre-1997) right now, and it's not my favorite. I know they get a lot of love, but Boss OD pedals aren't really my thing. I do like almost every other category of Boss pedal, including the DS series. The DLS, Crunchbox, o...

I have the Behringer bass driver... recommended by Freddy and Doog, I believe. Mine sounds good and hasn't had any issues. My friend with the DLS bough one as well recently. His has crapped out in less than a month.

Buy Boss, buy it once

Yes, the Joyo British has been noisey from the get-go, despite its awesome tonez. The Sansamp isn't any better unless I mod it? Perhaps the DLS is worth trying. I never really hear anything bad about that pedal.

In the past two years, I've owned the Digitech Digiverb, the Hardwire RV-7, and the Zoom MS70CDR. I also own a Boss RV-6, but that one doesn't have reverse. I personally like the Zoom best for reverse reverb AND gated reverb. The Zoom has a digital interface that allows you a lot of control when dia...

I used a Marshall Drivemaster as my main dirt for a long time, can be had pretty cheap second hand IIRC! I think I paid £30 for mine. Not a million miles away from a TS-style sound, but more amp-like. Plus, it was a few years ago, but I seem to recall the EQ was super flexible. I've been on a si...
