Decals and making 'em look good

To compliment my lil machineheads thread I want to also do something about the decal on the headstock of this guitar. It's by no means terrible, but up close it doesn't look like a decal on a factory build guitar. So my question is: Is there some way I can lacquer over this to get it to better meld ...

Machine heads!

Did a bit of a search of the forum and didn't find anything recent about Machine heads (prove me wrong of course). Sooo, I'm redoing the black Jazzmaster I bought from HNB here a few years ago, getting a new pickguard from Pickguardian for it and replacing the electronics. I thought while I'm at it ...

NGD Kramer Pacer

Fuck yes, lads and ladettes - got me a metaller guitar again.

I can't quite decide on the Telecaster I want right now (as we can see from the other thread) but this popped up in Pinole (few towns over from me), so I drove out to the sticks and got me a shreddah!

Look at this fucking beauty!

Is this a good deal? CV Tele, Lindy Fralins, $420

Been scouring the bay area for a good Telecaster to round out the squad - this fella has bid himself down to 420 off of 600 bucks. Seriously, did not pressure him to make that near 200 disappear... http://offerup.co/rmJqHZyd1lb So I'm kinda interested, I've heard good things about CV Tele's, it has ...

Re: New fender player plus finishes incoming

Wow I didn't think I'd find myself saying this but I really like that blue finish and the wideranger in the bridge position. I completely agree with the Andertons guys, it sounds like a telecaster with some of the high rolled out in the bridge position and that's quite an attractive tonal combinatio...

Legit need to find somewhere that stocks a range of reverend guitars, there are so many models that I'd buy and play. The more curvy boys look great, but the range of Sensei's that the Bob Balch is based on are great, apparently have very good build quality. From my research there is a big hole in t...

I'm still chugging along on my research out here. This seems to be very much in the ballpark, so imma find a dealer and see if this is any good - not gonna drop 1g on a reverb.com guitar: http://reverendguitars.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/reverend_bob_balch_violin_brown_signature_guitar.png http:...

... More of a double cut LP ... Get outta here with that shit! :) Glad you posted it, I was having conflicting feelings about posting: http://media.musiciansfriend.com/is/image/MMGS7/H99841000002000-00-1000x1000.jpg I'm pretty sure this is more a double cut LP too, but the Starla, Vela and Mira all...

Ah interesting choice, I remember wanting the Patrick Stump one. Not by name association, just cos it was cool, seem this black one is on Reverb.com in the lower 48 http://images.reverb.com/image/upload/s--kyBj_VPT--/f_auto,t_large/v1574894240/hcbjwnhdnjgit05jubhj.jpg It does tick the boxes and not ...

I love SGs, and will have another. I want a white one. Guild Polaras are OK, but I don't like the neck profile, and they fall apart in about three different ways. The best SGs are SG Classics (I've had four) - the combination of SGs and P90s is just bonkers. That looks like an attractive combo for ...

What is your favourite SG style model?

My whole life I've been gassing for an SG, I've never bought one cos there just seems like "more important" guitar purchase to make, like having a decent Strat or some workhorse guitar. I own a LP Studio that has caused me great pain with the neck snapping a bunch because of Gibson's shitt...

Most useful amp purchase ever, I'm seriously in love with it. Another added benefit is when my Helix is plugged in to my computer it acts as an audio device with the FRFR as a big monitoring speaker, so it makes recording stuff and listening to yourself easy.

Hello folks, made a few new nice little acquisitions recently and thought of you lot. Notable bits since last gear update for me: 1) Got a Danielectro 66BT Baritone, someone was selling one basically new near me so no brainer. It's fucking ace, sounds good with distortion, I think the real story is ...

Thats so weird, that's exactly the look I'm trying to work on with my Jazzmaster in the other thread. Amp knobs, bwb and a dark finish.

Looks tidy tho. Big fan.
