My mate has a 62 Jag with a mastery on and it works great but I've not felt brave enough to spent that much on a bridge yet

Ideally I wanted it all the same colour or all "aged". I just took the gloss off the pickguard with scotch brite for now as I wanna get this together.

Not got a staytrem on the jazzy, or used one for that matter but I had one on my old VM Jag and constantly popped the bottom string. I very rarely have issues with other strings, just that bottom E.

Some really useful info in here, thanks. I knew next to nothing about powering these things and the best methods. I just know my diago has a "limit" of the amount of power it can put out.

May even have a set of mustang saddles or at worst a spare grub screw from an old bridge. Problem solved son.

So, I've been speaking to the dude who made the body. He said he will send me a pickguard that he knows fits. He sent me some pics of it attached (with big pots) to a fiesta red body he has just finished. He has been super helpful and seems like a good guy. So for now, the tantrum stops. We will see...

What's the negative to just running somethin like the Diago in a standard setup? It's what I do and am just wondering if there is a way to do it better.

That's exactly what I'm saying mate. The body is US spec though according to the guy I bought it from so shouldn't be an issues. It fits all US parts so far too so no reason not to believe him.
