Nobels ODR-S. Originally bought on my OD search, but when I settled on the modded RAT2, I found the Nobels made a fantastic solo boost. I just gotta have set the Marshall's clean channel clean enough so that I'm actually getting more volume rather than just a preamp distortion boost. PLUS! I can add...

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a241/doogdoogdoog/pedalboardnew.jpg The pedalboard gang welcome in the new PS-5 addition, Mr Korg has ben reduced to a rechargable 9v battery for power for the time being.. The PS-5 works a lot better as a harmoniser going after the distortion source, but not so ho...

I do all my stuff in midi in an oldass Cakewalk midi programme. If your soundcard is decent and has good midi samples, it'll work fine. Of course, it's more time consuming and you need to understand a little about notation so you can input your beats, but you'll get exactly what you want the drums t...

Hurb, what broke on the old ones? If it's just the lead gone shitty, it's easy to fix, presuming it's possible to open the cans up. I got fed up spending ?30 a pop on my Technics RPF-290s every time the lead final gave up (I wore and transported them all day at work), I just bought some stereo cable...

Much better! I'd put a little bit of 'verb on the snare, its just a little bit too dry, and raise the highs and lose some mids from the kick drum. Maybe put a little bit of high end into the cymbals so they don't lose their cut too much. Ditto the vocals. Apart from that, it sounds a lot more balanc...

My opinion would be: Drums too loud and too compressed, spesh the snare and cymbals. Need more kick in the mix, whack of a bit of top end to make it cut through the mix a bit more. Try and get the snare and kick balanced out. I'd reign back on the hi-hats a bit if possible. Guitars are quiet and bit...
