Re: Pedalboard modellers: Whats your pick?

I realize I'm a few years behind here, but I really enjoyed the Line 6 M13. It's all their original FX modeling pedals in one, with a slightly better looper. No amp modeling though.

Re: BASSBREAKER

I still don’t know if it’s good for my band because the other guy GOT THE FLU so I guess we’re going to find out when we sound check for the show on Saturday. Living on the edge, Aerosmith style.

Re: Incoming NKD x2

EK- the digitone is powerful indeed, but fatally flawed IMO. There’s no continuity between patterns. Even if you copy and paste pattern one to pattern two, none of your parameter tweaks will carry over, resulting in ugly sound jumps, flow ruins, and general whackness. The Analog 4 or RYTM are much b...

BASSBREAKER

So I have this young brother in law, he's like 27? And I've been long term loaning him amps and guitars for a few years. Today we did a swap, he's taking care of my Twin Reverb now, and I got my bassbreaker back! 45 watts of tube terror into two twelves. Hopefully this guy will rule the school for m...

Re: NEU! 96 MIM Duo-Sonic

I'm glad they work for you, but those tuners make me shudder. (not that I've done anything about them on mine.) PROTIP FUCK TUNING IT TO E. TUNE IT UP TO F. it seriously solved every problem I had with mine. I actually rock a high A tuning (AEAAE) that might translate nicely onto the little guy.

Re: Incoming NKD x2

A while back I was considering the Hydrasynth, but I ended up trading in a trunkload of gear for a Summit and a Digitone Keys. I'll probably always be curious about the Hyrda though.

I've got one of those that needs a shitload of work. I'm not even sure what color it was originally. Now i'm much more interested in working on it, since reading the conversion neck theory...

uff da, yeah I'm interested. LIke, I really really want to do shit like that.
UNfortunately school, kids, puppy, previous musical commitments, and trying to keep a marriage on the rails dictate that I do not participate.

I did a lil podcast, mostly about Ghost in the Shell and Angel's Egg, but also some tidbits about my cartoons and my time in pedals. If you like the movies, Wrong Reel is a good podcast!
